Zeta-pdm Ltd announces the purchase of Flow Dynamics AS.

Flow Dynamics AS was founded in 1999 in Risør, Norway, and has since focused on process design, troubleshooting, optimization, equipment design, and computational fluid dynamic modelling. Since its inception, a large number of compact process internals for gas scrubbing, demisting and three-phase separation have been developed and supplied to the oil and gas industry.

Zeta-pdm Ltd was founded in 2000 and has since grown to become a leading provider of process equipment and services used in the production of oil and gas. In this capacity, it has designed, manufactured and marketed advanced compact production equipment and services used onshore and offshore in most of the oil and gas producing regions of the world. Zeta-pdm and Flow Dynamics have collaborated closely in a number of areas over the past ten years.

Now, the purchase of Flow Dynamics AS can be expected to bring strong commercial benefits. In addition to extending Zeta-pdm's range of proprietary separation technology, the acquisition will deliver enhanced capability in the application of advanced computational modelling techniques, based on parallel computing, and licensed commercial CFD software.
